Encoxada (derived from the Spanish verb encajar , meaning to force or insert) is a term used in parts of Latin America (notably Mexico, Chile, and Peru) to describe a specific form of sexual harassment. While sometimes trivialized by perpetrators as accidental crowding, it is legally recognized as a sexual assault involving the use of a crowded bus (portable environment) to rub one’s genitals or body against a victim without consent.
