The present-day story intercuts with Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris), who stumbles upon evidence linking a series of seemingly unrelated political murders to the mythical Ozunu Clan. After her partner is killed, Mika becomes a target. Raizo saves her, and the two form an uneasy alliance.
