Quick Start Guide:
A Good Installation On Windows

Before we dive into the "Repack," it is critical to understand what a standard LIP is.

: Get the latest updates directly from Microsoft Download Center .

REM Trigger Office Language Preference update "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\WINWORD.EXE" /regserver

When looking for or creating a repack, these are the standard features:

Microsoft designed LIPs for emerging markets. Consequently, an official Spanish LIP might only install on an English Office 2016, but not on a German one. Furthermore, many LIPs are locked by Windows locale settings. If your operating system’s region is set to the USA, you cannot download or install the official Urdu or Catalan LIP directly from Microsoft’s servers.

: Unlike full Language Packs, LIPs do not translate Help content and require a "base language" (like English or French) to be installed first.
