Oracle Database 11.2.0.4 entered end-of-life, moving to Extended Support fees, and eventually to Sustaining Support . Under Oracle’s software retention policy, older software versions are routinely removed from the main Oracle Software Delivery Cloud (edelivery.oracle.com) to encourage adoption of current versions (19c, 21c, etc.).

In 11.2.0.2 and 0.3, RAC node evictions could occur due to network latency (the dreaded CSSD timeouts). Version 11.2.0.4 introduced more forgiving misscount parameters and fixed numerous CRS (Cluster Ready Services) daemon crashes.

The final PSU for 11.2.0.4 was (July 2021). That is the truly fixed version.

The exact error that had killed the database—the [keltnfy-ldmInit] argument—flashed by in the log, followed immediately by a green FIXED tag.
